Karen Hirsch - Coach

A Brief Bio

I bring to my coaching more than 20 years of rich, interrelated experience working with a wide range of people in the nonprofit and business sectors. My specialties include communication and conflict resolution, leadership development and project management. I have built upon my work in nonprofit organizations to become a consultant, workshop developer/trainer and instructor. Training venues have included: City University of New York, The New School for Social Research and The American Management Association.

I am a licensed Social Worker from New York University and a graduate of Coach University (a certified institution of the International Coach Federation - the governing organization for professional coaches).

Coach Karen Hirsch

"In my capacity as co-editor of the Palestine-Israel Journal, a hyper-sensitive bi-national work environment, Karen's coaching has been immensely helpful to me. She has helped me clarify issues in "real-time" contexts, evaluate realistic options in interpersonal conflict situations, and process developments as they unfold. Her advice and gentle though probing guidance can be a tremendous asset to any NGO manager."
